I am attracted to the textures of nature and try to highlight these patterns in the natural and the manmade. Photographing in black and white and at close range brings attention to forms that might otherwise escape our notice and enhances the perception of the abstract. I also enjoy the photography of architecture, particularly portions of buildings which reveal unusual geometries or intriguing details.
